All submissions have been allocated one of the following formats. Please consult your abstract notification email for further information, or contact abstract@ishaconference.com.

i. Standard Free Paper Presentation - oral podium presentation - 5 minutes presentation, 2 minutes for discussion / Q&A

ii. Rapid Fire Free Paper Presentation - short oral podium presentation - 2 minutes presentation, 1 minute for questions

iii. Oral EPoster Presentation - 2 minutes presentation, 1 minute for questions (maximum 3 slides). Presentations will take place during coffee breaks in the Exhibition Hall theatre. Submitters are invited to also prepare the submission as a 1-slide ePoster for inclusion in the ePoster library (see ePoster instructions below).

iv. Trainee Award Presentations - the top scoring submissions whereby presenting authors are identified as medical students, residents or fellows have been entered for this year's trainee awards, the winners of which receive a USD1,200 award. This session will take place on the morning of Saturday 7 October, 10:30 - 11:30. Any presenters allocated a presentation time in this session are asked to plan to remain until the end of the award Presentations, which will conclude at 13:30 on Saturday 7 October.

v. EPosters - ePosters will be available to view on screens in the Exhibition Hall, via links in the mobile app and via the ISHA Conference Website. Please see the ePoster instructions below for further information. 

vi. Tips & Tricks Technique Videos - videos will be available to view on screens in the Exhibition Hall, via links in the mobile app and via the ISHA Conference Website. These should aim to be no longer than 6 minutes in duration and provide and explanation of the technique tip / trick as well as any procedure video footage. Please see the video instructions below for further information.

Please note that there is a 3-slots-per-speaker maximum, to ensure variety in the Scientific Programme. Oral ePosters, ePosters and Tips & Tricks Technique Videos do not count towards this number. Please inform the organisers as soon as possible of any presenting author changes.

If you have something else you wish to tell the group, you may like to book a slot in the new "Speakers' Corner".

Tips & Tricks video instructions

We welcome Tips & Tricks videos for inclusion in the ISHA 2023 on-site and digital libraries. Tips & Tricks videos do not have to be original/unpublished research, and do not have to have been submitted through the abstract process. Simply submit your videos to info@ishaconference.com by 27 September 2023. If your video is too large to send as an attachment, you may wish to use Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive, WeTransfer, or similar.

Submission information

We ask that you submit a presentation abstract, a photograph and a 100-word biography for inclusion in conference materials. Please also complete the below copyright consent and disclosure forms and submit by 1 September 2023 at the latest, thank you.
