There are many fantastic opportunities for local companies to get involved in this international meeting of the hip preservation community.

On 5-7 October 2023, ISHA - The Hip Preservation Society will be hosting its Annual Scientific Meeting on the African continent for the first time. In addition to bringing in over 500 of the world's most prominent medical professionals, orthopaedic surgeons, arthroscopists, residents, fellows and physical therapists, this Meeting has as its aim to attract orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians and rehabilitation professionals from around the African continent to exchange with global colleagues and bring to the fore specific issues encountered in the region.

Opportunities range from displaying products in the industry exhibition, to sponsoring a workshop or practical skills session, to providing grant support for scientific sessions or attendee bursaries, to distributing branded items to all delegates.

In addition to the main Annual Scientific Meeting programme from 5 to 7 October, on Wednesday 4 October ISHA will work with the South African Society for Hip Arthroscopy (SASHA) to hold a 3/4-day programme focusing specifically on the challenges in hip preservation in Africa. On Saturday 7 October, there will be a dedicated Physiotherapy & Return to Sport Education Day aimed particularly at physical therapists, sports rehab clinicians and conditioning specialists.
