Join ISHA - the international hip preservation society for its first Annual Scientific Meeting to be held in East Asia, and share in the latest knowledge and experience in the field of hip preservation surgery, sports injury and rehabilitation from around the world.

Theme & Topics

Having a long history as a place of trade, the city of Fukuoka is the perfect place for the international hip preservation community to come together to exchange ideas and collaborate, in order to advance hip preservation worldwide. With that in mind, the theme of the ISHA 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting has been selected as:

Elevating Hip Preservation Worldwide: Exchange, Engage, Excel

More specifically, the scientific programme will focus around 6 key topics:

1. Basic Science/Cadaveric Studies
2. Extra Articular Conditions & Management
3. Post Operative Management & Rehabilitation Strategies
4. Technology Enhancing Outcomes/Research/Patient Education
5. Innovative Approaches: Techniques & Interventions
6. Clinical Outcomes Research

The Scientific Programme Committee welcomes abstract and ICL submissions under the above topic areas.

Programme Format

The programme for the ISHA 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting aims to combine many of the popular elements of ISHA meetings, including

instructional course lectures (ICLs) with world-leading faculty
inspirational keynote lectures
hot-topic debates and case discussions
re-live surgery broadcasts

with new elements such as

top paper / "best of" research sessions
fireside chats
specialist interest sessions

ISHA is delighted to be able to additionally incorporate into its 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting parallel sessions led by the Japanese Society of Hip Arthroscopy (JSHA) and Asia Society of Hip Arthroscopy & Preservation (ASHA), which will be open to all and encourage the discussion of regional expertise within an international context.

An outline programme will be available in Spring 2025.

ISHA 2025 will be submitted to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for accreditation. These credits are also recognised by AMA for PRA 1 Credits.

Pre/Post-Conference Programmes

The hip preservation community being together for the ISHA 2025 Annual Scientific Meeting represents a great opportunity for additional pre- or post-conference activities and programmes catering to special-interest or regional groups.

Details of confirmed pre/post-conference programmes are set out below.

**Pre-Conference LATAM Regional Symposium**
**Wednesday 1 October 2025, 14:00 - 16:00**
**Cost: Free of charge**
Delegates from the LATAM (South America, Spain and Portugal) region are welcome to join us for a Spanish and Portuguese language session. No need to register - simply turn up. Further programme information will be released in due course.

**Post-Conference Physiotherapy Programme**
**Saturday 4 October 2025, 10:15 - 14:00**
**Cost: TBC**
The ever-popular dedicated ISHA Physiotherapy Programme will take place once again in 2025, offering non-surgical and pre-/rehabilitation focused sessions incorporating insights from the surgical and physiotherapist perspectives. Please register for the Physiotherapy Programme via the normal registration form. Further programme information will be released in due course.
