Practical skills simulator sessions

ISHA is delighted to be offering, in partnership with VirtaMed, Practical Skills Simulator Sessions to registered delegates of the ISHA 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting. The Simulator Sessions will give participants the chance to learn about key procedures and techniques using a state-of-the-art Hip Arthroscopy Simulator that replicates the operating theatre environment as closely as possible.

During your training session, you will undergo a comprehensive 45-minute series of exercises, with one-on-one support available from the training team. You will learn how to perform a standard diagnostic hip exam, train your triangulation skills using a 70-degree optic, safely establish access to the hip joint using zero radiation fluoroscopy simulation, and more.

At the end of the training, you will receive a certificate of attendance as well as a full analytics report of your session. As an extra bonus, the highest scorer will win a free registration for the ISHA 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting in Cape Town.

Participation in the Practical Skills Simulator Sessions is free of charge, however there are a limited number of places, available on a first come basis, and delegates may only sign up for one slot. Please click on the "Book a Slot" button below to select your session. Please note that slot times are set at 1 hour to allow for changeovers.

A refundable deposit of £30 will be required in order to book a slot. This will be refunded after you attend the session; no-shows will not receive a refund of their deposit.

ISHA would like to thank VirtaMed for their support in facilitating the Practical Skills Simulator Sessions.
