Welcome to ISHA 2022!

On behalf of ISHA – The Hip Preservation Society, we would like to welcome you to the 14th ISHA Annual Scientific Meeting, to be held as an in-person meeting in Glasgow, Scotland, UK from 13th – 15th October 2022.

Due to the global Covid-19 pandemic, this is the first time since 2019 that all international participants with an interest in hip preservation will be able to travel and come together to meet in person for this premier international conference which focuses on all aspects of hip preservation surgery and rehabilitation.

The ISHA 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting will build on the foundations of a meeting of scientific excellence which attracts worldwide arthroscopic and open hip surgeons, hip preservation and rehabilitation professionals, to present and exchange their knowledge, best practice and important results from their research. The programme will focus on the best and latest science and will aim to accommodate the needs and interests of everyone (PhDs, MDs and allied health professionals) with an interest in hip preservation. The programme will reflect topics including basic science, clinical examination, operative technique, post operative outcomes & management with rehabilitation and a huge focus on the use of technology.

We are delighted to be holding ISHA 2022 at the iconic Scottish Event Campus (SEC), host venue to previous international events including ESSKA and the recent COP26 UN Climate Change Conference. Located to the west of the City Centre on the banks of the River Clyde, many of the City attractions are within easy reach.

This is a fantastic opportunity for all healthcare professionals and organisations with an interest in hip preservation to come together to meet, dialogue and collaborate in person at this "Reunion" event.

This annual meeting is one of the most important and powerful concentrations of hip surgeons, hip preservation and rehabilitation professionals worldwide and constitutes a chance for bottom line networking and collaboration opportunities.
