Arlington National Cemetery Tour

Guests will tour Arlington National Cemetery via hop on/hop off tram tour. Guide(s) will stay with the group and take them to key stops including the Kennedy Gravesite, the Arlington House and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. At the Tomb, the group will have the opportunity to see the Changing of the Guard ceremony. 

Mt. Vernon Tour

Guests will be transported to Mt. Vernon, a 15 mile journey to Virginia, to tour George Washington’s plantation. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the Mansion, as well as tour the grounds. There is a fantastic museum complete with 4D movie that explores revolutionary history.

National Museum of American History Tour (ca. 2 hrs)

The group will join a guide and see some of the most overlooked, most interesting, and most unique offerings in the Musuem’s collection. Highlights include the flag that inspired the Star Spangled Banner, the top hat that President Lincoln wore the night he was assassinated, and the ruby slippers from the movie The Wizard of Oz.

Tour of the National Archives (ca. 1 hr)

The group will have an opportunity to tour the Archives and see the original founding documents, including the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights.

National Portrait Gallery Highlights Tour (ca. 1.5 hrs)

The group will enter and tour the National Gallery of Art and American Museum of Art with a guide highlighting key pieces in the collection. They will learn about the history of the building as the first US Patent office as well.

National Monuments Tour (ca. 3.5 hrs)

Guests will board a motor coach and make stops at all of the major monuments and memorials. Highlights include the World War II memorial, Lincoln Monument, Korea and Viet Nam War Veterans memorials, the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial and the Jefferson Monument. Guests will be escorted in to each of the monuments and memorials by an expert guide.
