CME ACCREDITATION

Important note:

There are post-session surveys included within the ISHA app, and a post-event survey/evaluation will be sent to you by email after ISHA 2024. If you are collecting CME accreditation, to qualify for points it is mandatory to complete both.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™

The scientific program of the “ISHA 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting” has been reviewed by the American Medical Association and approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.

The total number of credits available is as follows. The credits for which you are eligible will depend on the number of sessions attended and surveys completed.

ISHA Annual Scientific Meeting (main conference) only - 18.25 credits
ISHA Annual Scientific Meeting (main conference) plus Physiotherapy Program - 22.5 credits
Physiotherapy Program only - 6.25 credits

How to claim your credits:

ISHA will be emailing an evaluation (post-event survey) to all participants approximately 2 days after the conference. Upon completion of the evaluation, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance that does not reference AMA credit. You will also at that time have the option to opt in for CME credit, providing your first name, last name, email address and number of credits claimed. You must claim credit from the AMA no later than November 15, 2024 (extended from previous deadline of November 1). ISHA will compile the information for those that wish to claim credit and forward this information to the AMA by Monday November 18. You will then receive an email from the AMA within approximately three business days that will contain a link to the AMA EdHub. Log-in, or create a free registration if you don’t currently have a log-in, being sure to use the same email address; you will then be able to access your transcript on the AMA website and download a copy of your certificate.

AAPA Category 1 CME Credit

This activity has been reviewed by the AAPA Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 25.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation. Approval is valid from 10/17/2024 to 10/19/2024. AAPA reference number: CME-2012291.

How to claim your credits:

District of Columbia Board of Physical Therapy CEUs

The ISHA 2024 Annual Scientific Meeting has been assessed by the District of Columbia Board of Physical Therapy as providing 27.5 contact hours/2.75 CEUs. Physiotherapists in other states may be able to transfer this credit as part of any reciprocal recognition arrangements in place.

How to claim your credits:

ISHA will be emailing an evaluation (post-event survey) to all participants approximately 2 days after the conference. Upon completion of the evaluation, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance that does not reference District of Columbia Board of Physical Therapy credit. You will also at that time have the option to opt in for CME credit. ISHA will check the opt-in list periodically and send a CME certificate to those that have opted in and meet the requirements for CME credit. The evaluation must be completed by November 15, 2024.
